As I find you
Walking to nowhere again
Your silhouette
Illuminated by city lights
This pretty face comes with the price of a past
Theses feet have walked in every direction
Only to be embraced by disappointment
Drive with me
To a place where the lake sleeps beneath the moon
Stuck in a stare
On the banks of a lake called I don’t care
Imagers of love, hate and disappointment
Broadcast themselves from the still surface of the water
To do nothing is to live the past over and over again
So I through a stone through the reflections
And watch as imagers scatter in all directions
As long hours take there toll on tired eyes
Hope feels like such a waist
But ill wait
Remember to breath
And then believe
In a future I cannot see
